Burdine, Greg

Greg was the only freshman in CHS history to score a touchdown in a varsity game. In 1975 Coffee won the TVC championship and placed 3rd in the state. Greg had 42 receptions (with the longest being 86 yards), 9 touchdowns, 2 punt returns, 6 two-point conversions, and 4 interceptions. He was named All-TVC, and All Area, four times. He made All Stars seven consecutive years in baseball. At UNA he played football 1977-1979 and baseball 1980-1982. He played against 15 players, with 8 players and for 7 coaches who are in this hall of fame.
