Grigsby was the 2012 State Champion Javelin thrower while setting the 3A state record at 177.6’. He won the regional and sectional championships in 2011 and 2012 and was state runner up in 2011. In baseball he had a batting average of .411 with 13 homeruns and 102 rbi’s. As a pitcher he had 2.23 era and 69 strikeouts. In 2011 he was an All-State defensive back. He led the state with 14 interceptions (all classifications). He played quarterback and punter in the North / South All Star game. His offensive stats include 3,733 passing yards, 281 att, 191 completions, 40 touchdowns, 8 interceptions, 934 rushing yards along with 10 touchdowns. His defensive stats include 43 tackles, 16 interceptions, 11 PBU, 3 FF and 2 FR. He averaged 41.6 punting yards (6 inside the 10-yard line). He signed with UNA to play football.
