Played volleyball and basketball at Lexington High School for six years. Started on varsity volleyball learn as a seventh-grader. Her teams won two state championships and finished second three other times, and won five county and area championships. She made several AII-County. All-Area and All-Region teams. She started on Lexington's varsity girls' basketball team in the eighth grade. Her teams won numerous county and area titles and advanced to stale semifinals during her junior season. She has spent 14 seasons as volleyball coach at Lexington, leading her teams to a 481-179 record. which includes two state championship teams, four slate runner-up reams, twelve Elite Eight appearances, seven Final Four appearances, twelve county championships and nine region championships. She was TimesDaily Coach of the Year in 2003, 2006, 2007, and 2008.
