Kelley, David
Lauderdale County
He was team manager for Lauderdale County girls program from the 1984-85 season until being forced to miss rest of season after having a seizure during the county tournament in 2008. He was later diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. Head coach Larry Sinyard said he was his program’s greatest ambassador and earned the respect from coaches and teams from throughout the county and state. He was born with Cerebral Palsy and could not hear or speak, but he never allowed the disease to detour him. The Quad-Cities Officials Association honored him with a plaque for all he did for officials who worked LCHS games. He was a part of 836 wins, 157 losses, eight state championships, three state runner-ups, 16 Final Fours and numerous county championships.
