Three-time Shoals area Sportscaster of the Year and inducted into the Colbert County Sports Hall of Fame in 2003. “Voice of the UNA Lions” for nine years and “Voice of the Coffee Yellow Jackets” for 25 years. Member of the Alabama State High School Basketball Network for 20 years, broadcasting all Shoals teams. Broadcast state football playoffs for 25 years and broadcast about 1,700 games during career. Originated and hosted the “Coaches Breakfast” Saturday morning radio shows for 22 years and writes weekly “Knights Korner” column.
