Koonce, Robert

He was a three-sport letterman at Coffee. He was selected All-County, All-TVC, All-District and second team All-State in basketball. He was also named to the All-State Tournament Team in 1960, his senior year. He averaged 25 points and 12 rebounds during his senior season. He qualified for the state track meet in the 880 run and discus throw as a junior and senior. He accepted a basketball scholarship with Alabama.
