Letson, Greg

Greg was a standout golfer at Mars Hill Bible School 1987-1990. He qualified for Alabama High School State Tournament 1987-1990. He was Dixie Section Pro-Junior Individual Champion in 1998 and Runner-up in the 1990 American Junior Classic in high school. In 1992 he placed 5th in the NCAA National Championship. In 1993 he was named to the All-Academic Southeastern Conference Team. On November 16, 1993 Letson survived a near fatal car accident with multiple injuries. The following spring he finished 30th at SEC Championship and made the 2nd Team All- Southeastern Conference Team. In 1994 he was a nominee for the Paul “Bear” Bryant Student Athlete Award.
