Murks, Corey

He was a three-sport stand-out at Brooks High School. He made All-Area teams in baseball, basketball, and football multiple years. In basketball he made the All-Regional team in 1996 and 1997 and All-State in 1997. He played baseball in the North South All Star game and was named Lauderdale County Athlete of the Year in 1997. He signed to play baseball at Shoals Community College. He was named the All-Region team and led the league in homeruns. He then signed to play at the University of Tennessee. He finished his collegiate play at UNA where he was named to the All-GSC team.
