Pettus, Troy

Troy helped lead Rogers’ baseball teams to a 1991 state championship, state runner-up in 1993, and semi-finalist in 1994. He was named to the All-Area teams in 1992-1994, All State, Times Daily Player of the Year, and Lauderdale County Male Athlete of the Year in 1994. He had a career pitching record of 22-4, 1.79 ERA, and 206 strikeouts and a career batting record of .370 average, 16 homeruns, 93 RBI’s, and 74 stolen bases. Troy also had much success in basketball. He was named to All-Area teams in 1993 & 1994 and Basketball Co-Player of the Year in 1994. He had a career average of 17.1 points per game.
