Williams, Rudy

Rudy was a standout football and basketball player at Coffee High School (1994-1998). He had over 2,200 passing yards and 1,700 rushing yards in two years. He was a First Team All-State Punt Returner and two time 4A-5A All-Area player. He was a two time All-Area and All-State player in basketball. He was the 1998 Times Daily Player of the Year, and 5A State Player of the Year. He was selected to the State Super 5 Team. He had over 1,900 points, and more than 500 assists. At UNA he was a member of the 600 point club, Best Defensive Player, Team MVP, 1st Team All-GSC, and 1st team All-South Region team. He led team in points, assists, and steals. His first year he averaged 10.4 ppg. His second year he averaged 18 ppg.
